Using yarta
yarta helps you find answers from your organisation's knowledge and the wider internet. Here's how to get the most from it.
Two ways to search
Every time you ask a question, you choose where yarta looks for the answer. You'll see two options above the search bar:
My organisation
Searches your company's own documents, policies, and connected tools.
- Internal policies and processes
- Company systems and tools
- Client or project information
- HR, finance, or operations questions
General information
Searches broader knowledge from the internet and general sources.
- Industry regulations and guidance
- General how-to questions
- Research and comparisons
- Everyday questions outside your company
Key principle: yarta keeps these sources separate so you always know where an answer comes from.
Switching between modes
You choose your mode at the start of each conversation. Above the search bar you'll see two buttons: My organisation and General information. Tap the one you want before typing your first question.
The mode stays the same for the entire conversation. If you want to switch, select Start a new topic below the search bar — this begins a fresh conversation where you can pick the other mode.
If yarta thinks your question might get a better answer in the other mode, it will suggest switching. You can follow the suggestion or stay where you are.
Examples: My organisation
When searching your company's knowledge, include specifics like location, team, or topic.
Examples: General information
For broader questions, include the context, audience, or location to get a more useful answer.
Understanding answers
Every answer references the documents or pages it drew from.
Click any source to open the original document and verify the answer.
If documents contain conflicting information, yarta will surface this. Always review the original when precision matters.
